Thermatic to provide critical support for Bradford Hospitals

Facilities management company, Thermatic, is to play a critical role in maintaining healthcare ventilation systems in Bradford’s hospitals. The contract with Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust sees Thermatic delivering planned preventative maintenance and reactive support across the Trust’s three hospitals to minimise downtime across its theatres and ensure systems across the board meet vital compliance standards.

The partnership, which began in April, covers planned preventative maintenance of critical healthcare ventilation systems, maintenance of ultra-clean ventilation (UCV) theatre systems, reactive callouts for theatre ventilation faults, repairs and remedial works and the replacement of failed components where required.

The contract started with a seamless transition and Thermatic is now working to improve the visibility of system conditions and maintenance requirements to ensure any planned work is scheduled early to maximise uptime in theatres and clinical settings.

Dean Murray, General Manager for Thermatic Critical Environments, said: “Working across complex healthcare environments such as these requires specialist expertise to ensure compliance and quality standards are consistently met – something we can deliver from day one at Thermatic.”
