The new 425,000-square-foot facility is expected to be completed in mid-2026.

Community Health Network has announced plans for a new healthcare campus in Westfield, marking a significant expansion for the network while enhancing Community’s ability to provide access to care in central Indiana.

Situated in one of Indiana’s fastest growing communities, the new 425,000-square-foot facility will feature an ambulatory surgery center, medical office building, emergency department and six-story patient tower. The facility will offer a range of services focusing on women’s health, integrative medicine, orthopedics, primary care, behavioral health and specialty services.

The project includes the reconstruction of two existing buildings. These buildings will house medical offices, multiple clinical specialties, an ambulatory surgery center, an emergency department, support services, outpatient imaging and cardiovascular care.

In addition to renovating existing structures, the project includes the construction of a 100-bed inpatient tower.

Completion of the medical office building is expected in the first quarter of 2025. The surgery center, hospital service building and hospital tower are projected for completion in mid-2026. At an estimated cost of $335 million, the project represents a significant investment by Community Health Network, with the construction occurring on the site of a former business park. Renovating the existing buildings is expected to save more than $50 million compared to building new from the ground up which aligns with the Network’s sustainability goals.

Westfield will offer labor and delivery services, with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) rooms that promote family-centered care.
