New research project launches exploring emerging workplace trends

Emerging workplace trends are to be explored in new research project ‘WorkPulse’ with AI at its heart.

Mapping the needs of the modern workplace by today’s UK workforce is a core objective of the research project launched by furniture and workspace provider Workpattern and analytics platform Audiem.

As organisations wrestle with changing attitudes towards work, alongside increasing pressures to make the most of corporate real estate investments, this study aims to unlock the key insights that can help workplace leaders understand what employees feel about work and what they’re looking for, to help inform future strategies.

‘WorkPulse’ will be an ongoing research project that will offer employees from a cross-section of sectors the opportunity to explain their current attitudes towards the spaces their employers provide them, the technology they’re provided, and overall work culture.

Responses will be analysed by research partner Audiem, who will use their analytics platform to identify key topics and themes in the research, using advanced AI technology to analyse data and uncover useful patterns and insights that might not be immediately obvious.

By collecting responses from employees nationwide, WorkPulse seeks to build a data-driven understanding of how modern workspaces can be optimised for productivity, engagement, and wellbeing. Additionally, it will explore regional comparisons to understand how they compare or differ.

Employees from a cross-section of sectors and company sizes have been invited to take part. The findings will be published in an annual WorkPulse report, with regular interim insight updates as the dataset grows.
