Oklahoma Mercy Health Clinic Reopens After Tornado Damage

Jun 12, 2024 | Public | 0 comments

The clinic was struck by an EF 4 tornado on April 27.

The Mercy Health Love County Rural Health Clinic in Marietta, Oklahoma has reopened, according to an official announcement.

It is the first time patients will be seen inside the clinic since a powerful EF 4 tornado struck the hospital campus on Wanda Street in Marietta on April 27.

The clinic building will resume regular hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. The new entrance to the clinic will be on the building’s east side. Patient parking will be in the east parking lot.

“We have worked tirelessly to make sure our clinic building is safe for patients and coworkers,” says hospital administrator Scott Callender. An earlier reopening set for May 28 had to be postponed.
